Longest time on an AFL/VFL list for the least games?

Sam Grimley. 6 years for 3 games at Hawthorn.

A few more this year as a top up player at the Bombers.

Would have gotten more game time this year at Hawthorn when Roughead, Spangher and Schoenmakers were all out

Not quite on the same level as some of the other guys on here but for us Brant Colledge just got delisted after 3 games in 4 years, whilst Simon Tunbridge was drafted prior to the 2012 season and has 10 games to his name in 5 seasons.

Does anyone know how many years David Antonowicz spent on the Eagles list? He's listed as having played 3 games in all in 2000, but It felt like he was on our list for 4 or 5 years? Or maybe it felt like it was just because he has a very conspicious name and it was always first (or near the top) of our squad list in AFL guides.

Jake Spencer has just completed his ninth season with us. He has played just 36 games, and is re-signed for 2017. In a bizarre sort of way he's actually a valuable member of our squad, if Gawn goes down he's the only legitimate option we've got to cover him.
He played 36x as many games as Luke Lowden in only 1 more season haha

And Simon Eastaugh another ruckman drafted in 89, I think had about 5 years at Richmond without playing. Went to the SANFL. Then 3 years for 17 games at the Bombers and 12 games in 2 years at Freo. I think all up he would have been on AFL lists for 10 years for 29 games.
When he was in the SANFL he did a junior clinic at my school and absolutely loved himself to death

Let's not forget he was twice the league's leading goalkicker in the VFL, too.

Todd Elton just played Rd 22 and 23 of 2016.

That gives him 4 games in 5 years. His greatest moment came in a pre-season NAB game in 2012. It literally lasted one second and the Richmond Board immediately declared him a future champion (don't you just love pre season circle jerks?:p:p:p).

Under the 'Big Blokes Take Time' theory, yeah, well, ok, maybe (he's still only 23). We'll probably keep him, but it wouldn't surprise to see him cut. The fact that he's 6'6" means he'll probably still be employed somewhere next year.

Isn't he a half decent tap ruckman too?

Luke Lowden will be hard to beat, just delisted after 8 years and 1 game, not sure why he couldn't put it together
not sure why he wasn't gven another senoir game after a 3 goal appearance as his 1 and only game. Someone else pick him up. would like to see him get more games(just not at Hawthorn)

4 years (1998-2001).

We've also got McInnes (9 games in 5 years)

Jamie Bennell has played 77/78 games in what, 9 years on AFL lists?

Ahead of Jono Giles, 58 games in 9 years (4 with Port, 3 with GWS, 1 each with Essendon and us) plus a year in the SANFL and a year in the NEAFL in between leaving Port and GWS joining the AFL.

Jono O'Rourke has managed 21 games in six seasons.
Dallas Willsmore has managed 2 games in five seasons.
Kurt Heatherley has managed 5 games in five seasons.
Alex Woodward has managed 2 games in five seasons.
Max Bailey managed 43 games in eight seasons.

Will O’Rourke be retained? I remember a lot of hype in his draft year

Four years later and he’s finally started to put some good, consistent footy together at AFL level. 9-5 record with Brown in the side not a bad rate.
I'd take him back in a heartbeat. Good to see him doing well.
