GWS football boss Graeme Allan confirmed on 3AW on Saturday that he made a play for Kreuzer and that it was quickly rejected.

Allan, of course, wasn't about to offer numbers to the inquisitive radio box, but it isn't too difficult to determine a ball-park figure.

I don't know how he did it to be honest. If Collingwood drafted me, I wouldn't be able to stay loyal and turn down millions of dollars.

Hope either of them sits by (on recent form, save for injuries this year, it's hard to say which one of Hammer or Knockers is the number 1 ruck IMO) because you would only need one ruck to go down and things get difficult. Then if both go down..

Like they did a few years ago... it certainly was a rough year that one.

However, this time around, if it happens again, I believe that we are better served by having some pinch hitting tall forwards who can take turns in the ruck in the future.

While Setanta and Casboult are both forwards and arent that good as ruckmen, they can still do the job while Special K takes a rest on the bench or in the forward line.

That being said. Kreuzer is just a special player and I love his loyalty to the club. He is going to be as loved by the supporters when he reaches the end of his illustrious career and his name will be mentioned with the other legends of the club like Nichols and Jesualenko.

Why would you care ??? You describe Hampson as an athlete, but a spud ruckman in the Drafts thread who you wouldn't want at Richmond anyway
