Do we need a KK or Mackenzie type if Webb is there with JJ, fronkalicious? Combine that with Talia, Roughead, Wood and the rotating mid in the future and you've got most bases covered already. I wouldn't be spending massive assets on trading in a half back if we've got one of equal measure on the list already.

There are some kids who you can see just have "it" from their first game. Chris Grant was one. Lukas Webb is another. No doubt the coaches saw this very early too and have fast-tracked him into the seniors. Doesn't look out of place at all (but might be line ball to hold his spot when Morris and Wallis come back).

I think what we saw a lot of yesterday will be his signature move - reading the flight, backing up to take a clean grab, sizing up the options and delivering long to a target. I also loved his i50 delivery. Looking forward to watching a lot of that over the next ten years.

Still need another half back imo. A Murph replacement. Can't just rely on one guy to distribute the ball out, particularly with so many sides looking to press high up the ground as the game continues to develop.
