Hopefully the young lad makes a full recovery.

Not really into the whole harrass the families of these thugs though, it would be pretty cowardly to do so.

It's not a justice system anymore. The person who tends to win each case nowadays is the person who can afford the better legal representation. Simple as that.

I wonder how many lawyers actually think their client is guilty of whatever they're charged for, yet because of their job they have to do whatever they can to prove the exact opposite in court. I wonder how they feel when they successfully get someone cleared of a charge, only for that person to re-offend six months later. Must also suck to be a policeman or woman, and work your butt off to apprehend one of these offenders, only for the court system to let them walk or give them such a light sentence, it hardly acts as a deterent.

I said to a mate:these cowards that bashed the young footballer,i bet when they get arrested you will notice something about their surnames-and sure enough. The biggest joke was one of the guys charged was worried about the publicity causing his mum stress-what about the stress poor lukes mum is going through?

I thought I recognised the choker from the CCTV footage when I first saw it, now that I find out he is from Burwood East I most definitely served him at Burwood East Coles numerous times when I was working there.

Always seemed like a nice, polite guy. Obviously my judgement is poor.
They always seem like that when their by themselves. When they are with their mates however people like him become arrogant and think their tough and then shit like what happened to luke occurs.

"Mr Kontoklotsis's brother and sister were supporting him in court yesterday. The court heard his father had been swept off rocks and died when Mr Kontoklotsis was nine."

The usual lines being trotted out like your father dieing aged nine excuses the despicable thuggery this cockroach coward showed.

Lock him up:mad:

They've been named -

Surely someone on here knows of them or knows someone who knows them. If they do, pass a message on behalf of Big Footy that we hope they get r*ped and beaten to within an inch of their life in prison. Thanks.

Ah, multiculture a wonderful thing.

Yeah, and it you look on google looks like the Camberwell one went to Scotch. No doubt people on here know them. How's the cheek of the older one asking about supression of his name due to concerns of a public baacklash? Maybe the dog should have thought of that when he was jumping on some defenceless person's head.

The Cambers one did go to Scotch. One can only hope the DPP interview his teachers and sports coaches. They will get a good picture of what this scumbag is like to counter the 'He is a good boy' story his family will trot out.

Easy way to fix that offer larger salaries for the prosecutors, have the state pay for the best.

In days gone by when someone was found to have done an unexcusable violent act, the townsfolk would decide that 'this ones gone bad' drag them by the earhole to the centre of town and make damn sure they will never be able to do it again. And send a message by doing it.

These days we try to find excuses to why they did it and if we can't find any, we put them away for little holiday and let them leave early anyway.

Unless the courts start handing out decent sentences ( I'm talking 10 year minimums) anybody at anystage can become another victim of these blokes that become Rocky/Hulk Hogan whenever they see someone smaller or weaker than themselves after midnight.

Those involved in the Docklands bashing were caught recently. The guy that got bashed appears to have an Italian name.
