And so he should. Deserves better than what he got at St Kilda. Playing at another club will allow him to be the best player he can be.
He's also the exact type of midfielder Collingwood need, so would be a good signing for them

Not surprised. Saints didn't use him effectively in the GF and doesn't appear to be in their best 22?? (opinion only)

Woo Hoo! Hopefully a second rounder can get it done, or second and fourth rounder, considering they think he's worth a seven pick upgrade (through the Burgoyne deal).

Awesome, if the medicos give him the okay then I am all over this will. Will fit our midfield perfectly.
This isn't so bad for the Saints though I think, a few blokes had moved past him and Armitage will start to get more time now. The bloke is a bit too good to be spending 50% of a game on the bench though.

O'Bree is nearly done and Lockyer doesn't play in the midfield at all.
Luke Ball would have won the Norm Smith against your mob if he had more time on the ground, he was bloody good in the first half.
Tenace and Wojak are great examples of how important speed is

You have to laugh at the 2nd round pick ideas that Collingwood fans are coming up with.

I sort of agree, however the Pies are very reliant on Pendles at the stoppages, Ball gives them another insider midfielder who is good in the clearances
however in saying that, if the Pies secure Ball it is difficult to see them playing Ball, O'Bree and Lockyer all in the same side

An AA player in 09 for a player who was in/out of St. Kilda's team. Funny.
Ball will be lucky to get anything more than a 2nd RD pick. There are serious issues about his body packing up later in his career.
