To be fair Carey wouldn’t have kicked goals the last time we played the Hawks.I can only go off what I’ve seen.
Larkey has got hold of west coast in recent years and the only 2 games he’s been held were when hurn and McGovern played on him.
I don’t consider larkey a strong body on body player but some his numerous goals against the eagles came from out bodying Barrass. Something larkey rarely does.
Re battle, he hasn’t even played on larkey when we play the saints.
The guy with the best record on hawthorns list vs larkey is frost, who has destroyed him for like 5 games in a row.
If North don't improve this season he will leave.
If they do then he'll stay.
His place in 2026 is absolutely tied to North's fortunes this season.
I will back this up. Frost annihilates Larkey. Completely man-handles him and beats him on the lead.Surely you are having a lend with those comments

You’re delusional if you think otherwise. It’s why he hasn’t resigned for a club who has won 3 + 3 games over the past two seasons. The club needs to show improvement otherwise he will leave.

You’re underrating Barass. He is a gun.
Barrass isn’t a key back. He is one of the best intercepting defenders. And larkey giving barrass multiple baths but struggling on McGovern and hurn?
Barrass is a gun, but 1v1 defending wasnt his strength. Barrass always tended to sit off his opponent a bit so he could fly at the contest with a spoil/mark, thats not something someone who is confident in their ability to defend 1v1 does.I can only go off what I’ve seen.

OMFG you sound like you're describing yourself on the WC board.Hawks fans such as yourself are hilarious IMO. Mention a bit of common sense and out you trot waving pitch forks and shouting at clouds. Lol.
You act like your team is entitled to just keep improving and other teams can't and won't improve.
Game plans get found out and countered. Hawks rolled out something new and it took a season for the opposition to counter. Plenty of time for other teams to watch and learn from those who did.
It happens every year.
Going off the average from the previous 10 seasons they'll need to win at least 8 games to get out of the bottom 4. That's 5 more wins than last year. Squiggle says 9 wins will do it. It's a big ask, but certainly not impossible.i think its more the club expect us to rise this year
and as such ldu will stay also
I wonder if North think he's a fair chance of leaving which made the decision to hand over a likely top 4 pick this year easier as they'll likely get one back as compo....
Would work better if you chucked in Josh too. Be a shame to split up the brothers.Would love him at the Pies.
They will have a crack. Plenty of cap space opening up and some upcoming retirements happening.
Would work well with Nick.

Collingwood and your boys are not really Premiership contenders. They'll be lucky to make the 8. You will but won't make the GF.Honest question, why would any established player go from a premiership contender to a bottom dweller?
