With Meek now a near certainty to go (club nominated) and, let's be perfectly honest, a Lobb trade being a high probabilty i'm willing to re-assess my position on this trade.

I still think it's investing too much in a redundant position.

However the likelyhood is we will lose 2 of our 3 AFL-capable rucks this offseason without any real clear AFL-ready (i.e. Kuek/Benning not established at WAFL league) replacement and Darcy having a decent injury history.

While I previously qualified my position as being more comfortable if we could make the price essentially 2022+Lobb, I think a reasonable return for Meek might shift that even further.

I think swapping Lobb + 1st makes us worse next year, however I think we're going to have a dip this year coming anyway I think with a fair bit of shuffling, higher expectations and key players departing. In that context I don't mind Jacskon at the right price.

Dustin Martin. Pick 3. 2009 draft
Luke Jackson. Pick 3. 2019 draft

Why isn’t he just nominating? Trying to get the best $$s?
Less leverage for Dee's if they can't get a deal with us, wce can walk him to the psd.

And we will offer more than wce, since they won't trade pick 2 and doubt they trade f1 as they could be wooden spooner next year.

Tundrawolf: How about we talk about Luke Jackson in this thread?
Luke Jackson: Yeah, nah.

Guys. Jacko's bored. Talk about him more.
