He doesn't have to convince every other Richmond supporter. 95% of supporters know McGuane is useless. It is just that we can not understand those that claim to follow Richmond defending him. Do you actually see the performances this bloke returns. His fumbling and poor decision making has haunted us. Sure he will kick a couple of goals when we beat a rubbish side. I always cheer him and feel sorry him when he lets himself down but it's hard to sit in silence when people talk how good he is. I automatically think moron and then things get out of hand.
Just unfortunate he had one of his moments first up. I thought with the low pressure of the NAB cup he would have got through this one at least. But 8 years of consistent stuff up like this .. A bit of good.... a bit of crap. Not what you want when you are going for a premiership.

An average of 10 to 12 contested marks per side in an AFL game. Luke takes them. The other 800 don't. Keep highlighting your ignorance. This could be fun.

Well they do say that the first step is always accepting the truth about yourself. There's lots of self improvement and learning you can undertake to improve your ignorance. There's even some (not much) on the internet.

I used to be the biggest McGuane hater. But the guy has reinvented himself as a forward. Yes, he will never be a "good" player. But he will be able to contribute to a team. His skills aren't great, but he can snag a goal or two a week and creates a contest for us.
I find it hard to believe that you guys here all know McGuane better than the professional coaching staff at the Tigers.
Before you jump down my throat, I don't believe he is best 22, and he has many flaws. But as far as forwards go, he isn't the worst option.

Fubled the ball to much, reminded me of the freo game, as soon as we have someone till fill his roll he needs to go!

I fully agree with you, he plays the role better than Miller did. He can mark and kick and long as he's nowhere near the backline I don't mind. and as soon as A. Edwards, Elton, McBean etc are better than him I don't mind him in the team.
