Just reported on channel 7 news that Steve Johnson and Andrew Mackie were both arrested at around 4am outside a Geelong nightclub, after both players were involved in a brawl and threatened the police. They were both charged as being drunk and disorder. Mackie allegedly lunged at a police officer saying 'have a shot at the title'.

It just goes from bad to worse for the struggling cats.

What an idiot.
Hope Johnson is out this week then. It would help Melbourne.

I'm sure that the copper wanted to have the "Wasteful footballer languishing in the VFL" title. :)

What's going through their minds. Go home and hope no-one tells the coach about staying out til 4am or try punching on the coppers, losing and psending 4 hours in lock-up at the Geelong cells.

So does that mean Mackie has now lost his illusrious title?

If true, i'd be more than comfortable with the club withdrawing it's contract offer to Dog.

He's had too many chances, doesn't learn from his mistakes and doesn't show any desire to better himself as a footballer.

Sadly his talent will again save his arse though.

There was some concerns when Johnson was drafted about his commitment to his footy. His is a talent but has not really knuckled down like he should have.

He's got too much talent, it just comes so easily to him.

If he dropped the booze and ****, worked hard on the track and dropped the attitude he'd be a champion, but instead it seems he's just happy to put in the odd freakish performance and otherwise just drift through his football life.

Such a waste.

If S.Johnson was shown the door, I'm almost certain Essendon would move very quickly to get him down to Windy Hill.

If I was in charge of the Tigers recruiting, I would move quick too..
