Reason being is that there is STILL quality in the lot, but also a lot of trash. Those ones will be taken quickly leaving the scraps to top half.

Unless you are willing to give me first pick for that?

He hasn't shown much at AFL level, but he is almost two decades too young for Geelong's match committee to select him.

Backing him to eventually replicate his junior form once he's built up size and fitness to compete at AFL level.

He was said to be pretty bust proof as a junior. Hope that proves correct.
