Saw the game. saw the incident, although like you from a fair way away I thought the young bloke was going to lay a shepherd and copped that instead, which makes it right in the play... cant believe an ump didnt see it.....good young player was killing WU too.

Apparently you didnt see it then.. If the young bloke was coming in for a sheppard than clearly it was in the play..Bad i know and no excuse, umpires did nothing. Also it cant be helped by the players to keep up with who died and to take it any easier. On the field sh.t happens sometimes. Its not good i know, but this sh#t happens everywhere in country footy.
Will it be taken any further????

Im running primarily of 2nd hand info, just going of someone with firsthands opinion on this thread. Broken jaws pretty bad stuff, hope hes ok.

Shit happens sometimes greyhound? what a brainless comment. sure he wasnt to know his father had died but he still punched an 18 year old. you would never see the weak dog hit sonney lindsay or someone else his own size, or put his head over the football. Ive seen more low life acts from this weisel than i care to remember.

I didnt see what he got hit with, but it was the WU bloke chasing the ball carrier and the JR bloke going to lay a big shoulder on to shepherd. Is that in the play??
I thought it was close to where the ball was or why shepherd at all? If it was behind the play why was he was going to knock the WU player over? Thats why I say it was in the play, should have ended differently to that though.

I still cannot believe 2 umpires can say they did not see it, or more likely they did see it but it wasnt a king hit from behind or anything so they did not think it was much at the time. Like a few of us thought...Hope he is alright, noone wants to see that.

I see on the Mallee League website results (the suspect from last week) didnt play today. I heard a few different stories during the last week including:
1. He is laying low after last week.
2. He has his own health issues after being caught up with by a JR ruckmans elbow last week late in the last quarter.

Anyone know more than I do? If number 2 is true, is it all square or is there still an investigation going on?

Yeah not going too well Dissux. Didnt gain anymore players after Hill left and Markam also. Only Slorach and Brady left of the recruits. Also players are in then out for various reasons which has left the 2nds side depleted from its early success when there was numbers. Matt Palmer even played half a game of 2s before going on to be in the best in the seniors saturday to help out.. Just not going too well in Rooland.......and other sides are.

Looks like not much going on in the Mallee league!! Beulah looking alright for the flag to me, Ouyen too top heavy in the forward line for me.

Sea Lake hit by injuries, WL for the spoon although WU not that much better than 'em going by the scores.

this week should be some indicator with ouyen home to beulah i think the result will be opposite of their first meeting with ouyen getting up in a close one

Looks like not much going on in the Mallee league!! Beulah looking alright for the flag to me, Ouyen too top heavy in the forward line for me.

Yeah the Roos done it tough..Lost wakefield with split cheek..pretty bad i think. heep of stiches and slorach off with hamstring. Firey matchy, heeps of punches thrown and yet again umpires saw nothing, only sending a couple off. Very low on numbers now.

Also heard tonight that there was 5 week suspension from the jeparit broken jaw incident..any1 confirm this?
