Re: Saints lodge complaint with MRP

One issue is Malthouse blatantly lying in his press conference.
Didak was there ; ask him what Malthouse said
Eddie should really get rid of his scaly mates.

Re: Saints lodge complaint with MRP

just watched the incident again & theres no question to whom Mick was speaking & what his last few words were to Milne & which were repeated seconds later by Didak

to come out in a presser & deny it is moronically stupid

hope for Milnes stake hes guilty of what he is daily accused of, couldnt blame a bloke for going postal otherwise

Re: Saints lodge complaint with MRP

Malthouse outcoached Lyon.
We just couldn't convert.

NO.

We'd have been able to convert if our forward structure didn't resemble that of an under tens game.

Hahahahaha.

Bigfooty at its finest.

I really, really, really hope all these moral high-horses aren't the decision makers in society. No one knows what was said. Who could care what was said. It's a game within a game. Good theatre. Game means a fair bit to most involved in it.

And what's more, it must take something pretty serious to get a coach like Mick to respond.

Carry on. Enjoying the laughs here.
What you have said is fair enough, except for the fact your big mouthed president had a go at Adelaide Crowds this week. If Eddie hadn't of done that, I couldn't really care what MM said, but maybe Eddie has to control his own first before having a go at others. What Eddie has said is looking more hypocritical by the day, especially with the actions of MM last night. And the way Eddie defended himself on Triple M this morning was downright pathetic.

Pretty fiery sledging going on at quarter time tonight, not sure what was said?

Anywho, I think didak may have been involved in the exchanging of words, which is fine seeing as he's a player, but just wondering what people think when coaches get involved in this sort of thing?

Licuria should remember he's not a player anymore, and as for Malthouse, well, he's obviously got enough experience to know what is and isnt on doesnt he?
Culture

The thread title has been changed to this thread. lol

If Malthouse did indeed insult Milne about his rape case, when Milne got off and accused him of being a rapist, the Malthouse should receive some punishment as that's slander, but, if he didn't do that, then, it should be fine.

Well said. :thumbsu:

Re: Saints lodge complaint with MRP

Literally, Milne is on the ballpark and Licuria is in the stands.

As to how they compare as footballing talents, Milne is clearly ahead.

Milne is nothing more than a goal sneak, he is an underrated one though.
If I was picking teams I'd have Licuria before Milne, if you think Licca is crap then obviously you only remember him in his last season.

Yeah, he's underrated alright. Strikes me as a shit bloke too, but let's not confuse that with his footballing ability.

If I was picking a midfield, I'd have Licuria ahead of him. Having said that, I'd probably pick 60 or more midfielders ahead of Licuria in/since his time. I could probably name a few small forwards I'd prefer to have than Milne in that same time. See the difference?

Re: Saints lodge complaint with MRP

FWIW, the bigger concern is Malthouse's apparent loss of cool under pressure.

Exactly.

Monkey see, monkey do.

The Pies sure used up a lot of energy early trying to look tough and ruff up the likes of Clint Jones.

Perhaps another superstar like Ben Stratton will get the same treatment next week?

Dumb footy being taught by a dumb coach.
