No one is claiming that we didn't know what was coming. But you still need time after you know what you're charged with to prepare a defence. We found out yesterday.

As I said, I think anybody expecting this to be resolved quickly is dreaming.

But I think the FA and the footballing public has lost patience with City given they have deliberately not provided requested information for years now. I think they will be given very little latitude to f*** around this time. They will be given time to mount their case, but the leash will be much shorter than they'd like. And rightly so.

It's racist to imply they bribed UEFA because "who knows how much money changes hands between Abu Dhabi businesses".

Lower leagues hold no fear for me, losing players or manager holds no fear for me, supporting a club with no money holds no fear for me. Been there, done that, loved every minute of it.

If we win, nothing will change. You'll invent a reason why it was a mistake, or it was biased or "money changed hands between Abu Dhabi businesses". You'll continue to lie and make up stories, to which I'll feel obliged to reply to with a PMSL. Which will then boil the piss of other posters who don't seem to like the term (but use it against me at every opportunity).

So yeah, I'm relaxed. Will I be happy if we win? Absolutely. Will it change anything? Absolutely not.

PMSL. God help us all if Liverpool and United fans behaviour are the standard we're all judged on.

Jesus Christ even by your low standards this is a disgraceful post. Abu Dhabi is a state, not a race. You have to be some kind of special idiot to try and paint references to Abu Dhabi state owned business as "racism". chef and other moderators I am sure will be keeping an eye on such posts.

The reality is the only party to blame here is your club - nobody else.

Liverpool & United fans are no standard to be judged on, about the only thing in this post that makes any kind of sense. At least they are happy to call out their owners on shite - your fans worship your Abu Dhabi based ownership like some sort of cult.

Come on moomba the call of racism is clutching at straws.

Doesn't sound like the rantings of a person who is "completely relaxed" at his club facing 113 charges levied by the Premier League does it?

I just want multiple league titles to come out of this whole thing. Is that too much to ask?

If you didn't get to experience it at the time did they even really happen?

Would be pretty hollow to me.

Probably not. But how funny would it be? 😂

Not that I am under any illusions that anything drastic will happen. Just a fine, I am predicting.

Call it as I see it.

Nobody here can be as racist as your sportswashing owners though.

No one here has the power like they do...

Did the runners up when the Storm were stripped of GF wins get the trophies retrospectively?

No, that was also a play off grand final and not something decided by a ladder. I wouldn't be comparing what happened in the NRL to what would or could happen in a major football league, the best comparison is Italy and Juventus.

Considering Abramovich was forced to sell for being a Putin enabler (albeit with a more direct link) is this someone we should have involved in owning a Premier League club?

Abu Dhabi seems very keen to have Russian oligarchs move their money there to avoid western sanctions.

Countries/states/oligarchs should not be able to own football clubs. Full stop.

What Manchester City have done, with all of their global feeder clubs is bad for the game. I was a Melbourne Heart member. The moment City moved in, I walked away from supporting the A League. The whole Manchester City organisation is abhorrent. I hate them as much as I hate Arsenal, and only slightly less than I hate Chelsea.

There are plenty of non City based A League clubs for you to follow in Melbourne!!

It's difficult once you had a team and I liked Heart because they were the second stringers in Melbourne and had to earn their stripes.

I might be in a similar position with the PL if Spurs are sold to Qatari interests as has been doing the rounds. I might go and follow Fulham...or Wrexham FC.

It's bad enough that Joe Louis and Daniel Levy own the club, although ENIC is at least publicly listed.

I couldn't be happier and delighted with how the City Football Group's ownership of Melbourne Heart turned out myself.

I refuse to accept how their ownership of Melbourne Heart/City has actually been bad for the A League tbh, that's just nonsense.

I just oppose and detest everything that Manchester City stands for. Once Heart was sold, that was it for me.
