I hear Melbourne Victory have some openings for new fans.

Would have thought Western United would have been the way to go.

Most Heart fans (like myself) joined and supported the club cause we couldn't stand the thugs, hooligans and downright Anchors that supported Victory from day one.

Yep, that's why I climbed aboard. Support the battler. Alas...

I just oppose and detest everything that Manchester City stands for. Once Heart was sold, that was it for me.

Fair enough, you are perfectly entitled to it

Never really gotten the disdain for Manchester City (as a football club historically) I did enjoy Aguero denying Man Ure the title with the last second goal on the end of the season against QPR.

Greatest moment in Premier League History !

From an ownership perspective, I understand the reasoning why people would stop supporting Heart/Melbourne City, however the last few years have been an absolute blast after a shitty first 10 years or so, and absolutely enjoying Victory being broke and rock bottom this season..

Let the Good Times Roll !!!!

Heard a few whispers there are issues across CFG because of all of this mate. You should be concerned your ownership group is acting in such a way.

I am far more worried about Leeds United ownership than Melbourne City's (least at this moment in time)

Pretty hard to rort the cap/do illegal payments in such a well audited and taxed league and country like Australia.

Looking forward to our 3rd consecutive Premiers Plate and hopefully go one better in the finals.

Yeah you are correct. I guess the big problem is if City do get done big time they won't be so generous about propping up their other clubs around the world much longer. That's where you guys will feel the brunt of it.

But you're happy to sportwash for thug owners. Too funny

Zzzst.

I absolutely have no problem with the City Football Group have conducted themselves off field, throughout history, the price of progress has often involved people being exploited or mistreated to build an Empire, it's a historical fact.

They have enriched the A League and my enjoyment of it, and absolutely don't care if I am a sportswasher or not.

As long as we keep on winning silverware, no questions asked from me, sportswashing has always been part of the world and its naive to think otherwise

Btw Bostonian do you actually follow the A League ? (I don't recall you ever posting in any of the A League game day or associated thrèads)

If you don't (which is your right) I don't see how you can have a crack at me when you don't support our local League, I was there from day one as a foundation Heart member , though all the losses, through the time we went over 300 days without winning at home.

And yes I stuck by them when The CFG brought them out, what other choice did I have ? Maybe if the FFA let South Melbourne (my NSL and NPL team) I would have joined them.

As far as I am concerned, City is still the same club and soul it was when we started up 15 odd years ago as that small club from Bundoora, just dressed up a little.

As I say, you don't seem to follow the A League at all, and have no idea of the cràp we Heart/Melbourne City fans have had to put up with.

You can be a heart fan and not suck off man City.

No I don't follow the A-League anymore.

I had some interest when Heart first started due to its links to Geelong and some people/player involved who went to my secondary college.

Once City got involved I stopped following them.

It was that easy to do.

Maybe if those shit lords sell it I'll start following them again.

But Victory are bad because they have w***er thugs.

Irony isn't your strong suit.

Standard City tactic. If you criticise us you are racist/xenaphobic.

That will probably be the basis for their appeal - or that it's a conspiracy between those rags / dipper ****ers and they are the real ones who are guilty.

To be fair, there has been a lot of anti Arab/Islamaphobic/Camel Shagging comments directed at Man City's owners over the years (esp from Man Ure and Chelsea fans)

Surely that is totally unacceptable.
