Wouldn't say no haha. A few people saying it would taint an Arsenal title win. But tbh, the fact that arsenal were already still ahead by a small but noticeable margin, and the fact city have looked off the last couple of weeks. I wouldn't care in the slightest if they won it that way, as they look the most deserving at the moment. Again this is purely speculative at this stage, and still nearly half the season to go. This is a big story though

Let's be real here - there was always something dodgy going on. The numbers simply didn't add up. But, and I don't deny this, Man City aren't the only club and, I am also practical here, I highly doubt they will be hit with substantial penalties.

As long as the money keeps rolling into the Premier League, this will be a slap on the wrist at best.

Considering the charges it wont be just a points deduction this season if they are found guilty.

Doesnt affect an Arsenal title win either way. Theyve been fantastic and didnt have to resort to cooking the books to obtain their success.

I don’t think it would. It would certainly put a huge asterisk around City’s three premierships, FA Cup and three League Cups during that period.

This is systematic financial fraud almost from the start of the Abu Dhabi era. Considering the number and severity of charges penalties will be severe if they are found guilty.

The difference with City is they use Abu Dhabi investment fund owned businesse, a state owned fund to launder their money. No other club has that ability apart from Newcastle recently.

This investigation wasnt rushed like the UEFA one due to their 5 year statue of limitations which does not apply in the PL. It is also not in the interests of the PL to charge / penalise them either. Id be amazed if they got out of this with just a fine and/or a points deduction (they are losing the PL anyway this season)

Once found guilty their only options are a CAS appeal or accept the punishment. Court action against the PL isnt an option and in any case all clubs have agreements which state they have to accept disciplanry findings handed down by the PL.
