There is no time bar for fradulent activity.
That's not entirely true. The Premier league could allege deliberate concealment to get around time issues. The bar for proving that is quite high though, so while I expect they will argue that way (they wouldn't have charged us for some offences otherwise) I'd be surprised if some charges aren't time barred.

Personally I would rather they aren't, people will just presume we've found a loophole otherwise.

Let the league prove their case.

This is systematic financial fraud almost from the start of the Abu Dhabi era. Considering the number and severity of charges penalties will be severe if they are found guilty.

The difference with City is they use Abu Dhabi investment fund owned businesse, a state owned fund to launder their money. No other club has that ability apart from Newcastle recently.

This investigation wasnt rushed like the UEFA one due to their 5 year statue of limitations which does not apply in the PL. It is also not in the interests of the PL to charge / penalise them either. Id be amazed if they got out of this with just a fine and/or a points deduction (they are losing the PL anyway this season)

Once found guilty their only options are a CAS appeal or accept the punishment. Court action against the PL isnt an option and in any case all clubs have agreements which state they have to accept disciplanry findings handed down by the PL.
Both sides have a right of appeal.

To think just last week a fan of my club on here openly wanted to replicate these vile campaigners.
Shiny trophies over morals I guess.
With that sort of money there's no need to cheat. Shame on man city!

With paratici at the wheel we'd never do such a thing with 100s of millions ;)

So they under the table paid a sacked manager. Who?

And what else are they guilty of?
I think its Mancini, had a contract with Al Jazira (owned by Mansour) at the same time he was with us.

But he was working with Al Jazira before he came to us so may be related to that.

And it was a few years before FFP existed so I'm not sure what rules were in place back then.

You remind me of bomber supporters 10 years ago who were like the african river in denial

Denial of what?

Simply said that I suspect some of the charges won't be heard due to being time barred. Could be right, could be wrong.

Like I said, let the league prove their case. I'm just happy the ball is rolling and the end is in sight. This has been hanging over our heads for half a decade now, and the charges go back 14 years. Whatever the outcome it'll be good for everyone to move on.

Ole about to become a PL winning manager.

Just strip them of all their league titles and I will never have to hear that Aguero commentary ever again. 11 years on and I still dive for the remote every time I hear it played.
