Pt Lincoln Cup day!

R1 HUNTED ANGEL - track specialist and this is her distance. Been close of late but expecting a very close finish here with SHE'SMISUNDERSTOOD.
R2 MUNGO MERLOT - Maiden but always around the mark and unlucky not to have a few wins. #7 probably the most talented in the race but poor first up form.
R3 HANK'S NEPHEW - loves the track and really should put these away. Last two wins have been comprehensive. Quick back up from Wed the only issue.
R4 COOL CLASSIC - Quality stayer who beat a very nice horse last start. Looks like he'll get the run of the race here. Hasn't seen Lincoln before. SAREM a danger.
R5 BLACK BARRA - beaten comfortably by DIRE WARNING last start but was battered from pillar to post throughout and is 7kg better off here with a better barrier. ON MY COMMAND in some great form and will fill a place.

R6 Could make a case for every bloody horse here. Hard to go past HASTEIN who has solid winning city form and is back in grade on his home track here. CORDUROY will give this another shake and us probably the form horse of the race. TESTATE & STAKHONOVITE are capable but a bit of an unknown. MISS ABERDEEN is bursting to win another one & MEADOWS BOO hasn't been winning but has been very close to a couple of these more noted runners, incredible value @ $36

1st HASTEIN 2nd CORDUROY 3rd MISS ABERDEN 4th MEADOWS BOO

R7 PICTORELLA - Should've won Wednesday but got checked badly and lost all hope. Up against some real donkeys here so suspect he'll be fighting out the finish.

Quad: 1,2,5,9 / 1,3,4,9 / 1,4,6,13,14 / 1,3,5,6,9 - 34%

Moonee race 7 - MAURITIUS. Had excuses last time but 2 quality wins prior, actually defeating $3 favourite AGGREGATOR over 2400m. Price has shot out to $16. On each way.

I was looking at Mauritious as well. After studying the form it had the best time over that length for the horses competing from memory and I was staggered it was out at $15 at about 3pm today

Also taken these wet trackers for the LOLs at Rosehill given the continual downpour we've had in Sydney today:

Race 3 - AGENT BAUER @ 35/7.18
Race 8 - KIMBERLY KID @ 51/13.5

Also taken the place All Up at 96/1 and Win All Up at 1700/1 :D

Ascot:

R2: DUETON/DAWN'S FLYER quinella
R3: KALAHAAR
R5: FLASHY DOLL/BLACK UMA quinella
R6: READY RAIDER
R7: FRIARDAY to place

1,6/4,7/4,6,8/1,2,11,12 52%

Extremely though day made even harder by All Too Hard coming out.

I'll be tackling the Guineas by dutching PHILLIPI and HIGH SHOT for the win, taking them with ALJEEB for the quin.

Will also be taking REBEL DANE to beat Pierro in Sydney. Surely if ever he is vulnerable - today is the day.

In the Guineas I like Kent's pair High Shot and Phillipi and Ferlax at odds each way. Scatter gun approach.

Besides that Gail is my best in the last, along with There's Only One and I'm interested to see Marianne in the first.

Sydney
Single, Charlie Boy, Rebel Dane, Red Tracer, Frozen Rope, Charge Account.

Flemington
Race 4, no. 6 - Thy. A fan of this horse, personally. Would prefer it over a bit longer, or if it were wet, but still think it is a good chance today. Won first up over 1400 last time, before being sent straight back out. Was a heavy track. however. Has also finished 3rd in the Australian Oaks behind Streama. If Streama was in this would be paying all of $1.20. Might be a bit of a watch and see how it goes, but is a definite chance today.
Race 7, no. 15 - High Shot. Looks to be a very, very good horse. I, like many other have a high opinion of it. If All Too Hard was running, I don't think it would be so much of a chance, he would just win. However, he's not. This is now a very open race, and there are a few that can win. Have a good feeling about this one. Wasn't too bad last start, and can improve here.
Race 8, no. 1 - Ready to Rip. Hasn't lost First Up, 4 from 4. Distance 3 from 4 and 1 placing. There are a couple of nippy fillies in this race, so he'll have to be at his best, but stats say he will go very close in this race.

Quaddie - 1,2,3,8/2,3,4,5,15/1,6,10/5,8 for 12.50%

Rosehill
Race 3, no. 1 - Permit. Has a fair bit of weight today, and is giving a lot of weight to a couple of horses which seem pretty good. Second up today. Last time it was second up, finished second behind Glencadam Gold over 1800m. Chris Waller is in super form, and Permit should go well today.
Race 4, no. 10 - Chiaramonte. Has been in great form this horse. Hasn't been tried on slow or heavy going, so today well be interesting. 5,6 & 7 all seem to be talented horses, and I think this guy is as well. Is well over the odds in my opinion.
Race 6, 1/4/7 Trifecta (Boxed). I think Pierro will win, but is a bit short for me. Rebel Dane and Proisir are, in my opinion the only dangers, and I don't think they will be all that close. Not a bad trifecta, wouldn't mind Proisir or Rebel Dane to win to boost value.

Quaddie - 1,3,7/1,4,7/2/1,3,5,6 for 41.66%

Have had an awful last couple of weeks, so take it all with a grain of salt.

I've had a shocker at Ascot. Young Lionel with Dare To Doubt is the only plus point. Had Kalahaar to place as a safety, but the odds got killed because of the scratchings... Otherwise money down the toilet :-(

Bugger it, going 1,2,4,5,11,12 for a 4% flexi first-4 for R8 at Ascot, just for giggles. There are some long odds there so you never know...
