How long will they continue with the ASM? Throwing money away on this race. Only 2 horses with a realistic chance, Sydney trainers not interested at all and inviting some scrubbers from across the ditch…..
Give it one more year at set weights and penalties, if field is poor again, scrapheap!!

Its been completely and utterly botched. Matt Welsh is just not the right person for the job, not sure how he got it either, he was a terrible trial file tipster...
It was ok as a voted in race, it was never going to get the best field that way but that wasn't the point of the race.
Anyway it needs to be a slot race now even though i hate them. We dont have that many WFA mile races right now and its a perfect lead up to the Australian Cup (which should be programmed 2 weeks after the ASM)
