I was pretty much the only person to talk to Hrovat in his rookie year (as well as Lachie Hunter) when the draftees were presented in the East-West day. No one knew who he was. I think I also talked to Josh Prudden too - wasn't he called out by Scotty Wynd for the dogs to have a look at drafting him?

Anyhow, I see Bonts, Macrae, Libba and Hrovat as forming the nucleus of the midfield in the coming years. Libba and Hrovat the clearance machines, feeding the ball out to Bonts and Macrae.

I reckon more like Bonts and Libba feeding the ball out to Hrovat and Macrae. Really reckon Bonti will be a clearance machine in time, he can just pluck the ball out of any situation and pull off some fantastic clearing handballs, just wait till he adds some muscle to his massive frame, and we all know how good Libba is they will be pretty much unstoppable in their peak. Luckily for us though Macrae and Hrovat are also great on the inside and Bonts and to an extent Libba are quite capable on the outside so we're pretty set.

Congratulations guys this kid is an absolute star in the making, he reminds me so much of Pendlebury with some of his manoeuvres in traffic, decision making and ball use. I was hoping he would slip to us last year but you guys unfortunately beat us to him, but in saying that I am glad about getting Scharenberg as he looks a star in the making. I think I'm gonna start watching more Western Bulldogs games if you guys can keep playing like you did on the weekend, it was an exciting game to watch and something I thought you were capable of before the season started.
