Sorry to Saints supporters but i want them hammered just so he isn't big noting on Monday. I want to hear pain in his high pitched whiny mumblings.
 
harf's got that 'annoying fm morning radio' personality so its good he was on in the arvo!;),tuned out of the 12-4 shift now that the ferret is back
 
Anyone hear him 30 mins ago. He did the traditional I'm the host shut up routine. Some guy got stuck into him about St.Kilda v Geelong and something he said (I missed that bit), but he kept saying to the producers 'turn him down so I can speak'. w***er. Finey let's them have their say.

On that, I thought it was the actual hosts who could turn down or flick off the callers.

I heard that and actually SMS'd SEN saying he acted like a tool, didnt read that one out for some reason...

Take my advice. Don't bother getting involved in a slanging match with Doran, he will always want the final word, and will concede nothing. You end up more frustrated than you were at the beginning. Just ignore him. I refuse to listen to him and suggest others do the same.
 
I don't listein to SEN anymore because of Doran, all i do is read this thread and think to myself nothing much has changed over the years.

I'll tune back in at 4pm for the run home.

They cut to a break, and upon returning, Robbo forced him apologize to the caller, labelling Doran as "unacceptable." Then reminding him that it is effectively an open line for all the fans out there to discuss anything about footy.

I didn't like Doran before, but since then I've despised the man.

This is more an in general SEN/the whole media world/Mark Doran/Matt Thompson sledge but did anyone hear the tripe that is supposed to be journalism today? On Doran's show they cross to Matt Thompson who as he so eloquently does every single time and he speaks tries to talk things up a bit and says "Dramatic Happenings down at St.Kilda". To which we then find out all he's referring to is Luke Ball training. They then cross to a bit of Ch9 audio where they catch Ball going into training with them asking him 100 questions on how is he going/will he play etc... to which he give the logical answer that he will have to see if he gets through training.
Gee, that is a surprise. But then SEN dramatically cross live to Tony whatever his name is down at St.K training to tell us how Ball is training. To which Tony informs us "live" that he doesnt know as it is a closed session!!! I mean are the serious. Do they have to go through all that crap whne they could have just said Ball will attempt to train at St.K's closed session this arvo and he'll be judged from there. How ridiculous is all this media beat up now. Ball's just gunna try and train for gods sake! Not to mention King of the Tools Tony Jones from Ch9 has hitched a helicopter to fly over Moorabbin to get some footage! How completely stupid is all of this! It makes me turn off!
 
Yes, I just heard about that fiasco involving Tony Jones. The media have overtaken politicians and used car salesmen as the most despised and mistrusted people on the planet.

I seriously don't know how they can live with themselves. The media are a collection of extremely sad people, and I can't understand why the suicide rate amongst media people isn't higher.

They respect nobody, and wonder why they aren't respected. If the media really think we want them hovering over a locked out St.Kilda training session in a helicopter trying to work out what Luke Ball is doing, then they really need to re-assess what it is the public want to know.

I hate the lot of them. They continue to ruin my enjoyment of the game.
 
Meh, I'm not the biggest fan of him because he doesn't let callers have their say. That's probably why I like Finey so much. But the St Kilda bias is non-existence. Honestly, if I hadn't read on here or Saintsational that he was a St Kilda supporter, I wouldn't know who he supported.

So people trying to stick the boot into St Kilda (one premiership was brought up) **** off and go to bay 13 because as far as I'm concerened, this twat has little to do with St Kilda.

Unfortunately for you and for St Kilda this dill is a paid up and proud Saints supporter. Embarrassing for your club as you have said he is a twat. Best way to get rid of him is to make him persona non grata at the club. The member that nobody wants as a member.

Oh yeh, I'm so embarrassed because I called a fellow St Kilda supporter a twat.:rolleyes: I know a lot of St Kilda supporters who are twats. And my post was basically to say take the St Kilda bashing to bay 13 because he doesn't show his bias for the club on air.

OK, I accept that he is a St Kilda member and proudly supports us but I still think he is an idiot as a team presenter and as the first St Kilda supporter to post here, doesn't that show that I'm not letting my bias cloud my judgment of him?
 
l don't really care who he supports, the thing thats gets me is he's boring, puts me to sleep, nothing interesting to say and his voice is just monotone............yawn......... they should have Mark Allen doing the arvo shift

Yes he does show his bias on air, most of the tools do. But he is such a d1ck that it is embarrassing for St Kilda Football Club. It is like having Sideshow Bob come out and say he barracks for you, bit of a joke really. Like Tony Jones and Collingwood, that bloke is a disgrace.
If he had some credibility you might not mind, but he is far from credible and polarises people immediately.
Why is it that a lot of tools barrack for St Kilda anyway? By the way I am not knocking the club, but Francis Leach, Pooh King, Molly Meldrum, Michael Gudinski, Warney I am sure there are numerous others. St Kilda seem to have a stranglehold on showbiz tools. maybe it is the geographical thing as a lot of tools and arty types live around St Kilda. One of lifes mysteries.
