Some of those are on the nose but he works for the Herald Sun, one of the leading forces in this country for demonising minority groups and anyone to the left of Genghis Khan. What would you expect?

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting anything else. But just feel that context may assist here.
People may be less inclined to give this one a pass, in the even they see something wrong with it, when Knight has perhaps flown close to the sun previously.

Cartoon is obviously racist (which is what he was going for) to anyone with even a brief knowledge of history.
But this is BF so that is only about 0.5% of people.

Not sure how else he was meant to draw the caricature and depict Williams as the foul, boorish, false icon that she is... I’ve always viewed her as a monster which has nothing to do with her physique/skin colour and everything to do with her persona.
As a person with left leaning sympathies it’s embarrassing that a known tennis brats’ tantrum is being used by her and some others as a great leap forward for social justice.
