Just me or did he look like a fidgety junky anxiously waiting for his next hit?

He seemed very agitated & all over the place.

I'm a big fan of his coaching & what he achieved at Geelong but to me he looked on edge last night.

Who'd be a coach!

Yeah thought the same thing. Something was clearly not right. I initially thought it was nerves but then I remembered this bloke's been in the public eye for 30 years.

Found it particularly strange his nose kept running. Just sayin'.

Bloody hell, he looked shocking. It seemed like his face was twitching, and he did look really nervous. Was he sick? He seemed so nervous it looked like it was is first time on camera. Obviously he's not a druggie, but geez he looked like one.
The aspersions cast on here by the OP are dangerous, foolish and not suitable for bigfooty I'd suggest. But at the same time you can't say that anyone obviously isn't a drug user. Plenty of high functioning ones out there.

Personally I think Bomber is usually a bit fidgety on camera especially when he's not in a comfortable situation. Remember the footy show is different than AFL 360 and press conferences as there's also a large studio audience there.

And as he said he's been working 12 hour days most days (who knows what these coaches actually do). So not really a surprise if he's tired. Add in a runny nose that always makes you feel a bit lousy and that might be the answer.

I just thought he looked absolutely exhausted. He did say after one of the NAB games he went into the rooms and fell asleep because he was so tired. I would think it has not been easy for him

I didn't see it but he's always been sort of nervous in front of the cameras, not the best media performer going, including his time at Geelong. Obviously his ability to communicate to players is ok, or at least it used to be.

He was the same (although I don't watch TFS) on AFL360 the other night.
Really fidgety, and could barely construct a sentence.

He's been the same is every interview for the last 10 years.

He's never been completely natural in front of the camera, always talking in fits and spurts.

I've seen him up close talking and he's fine. I get the feeling on TV he's somebody who doesn't wanna his mouth to run away and has to watch his language. So he talks a little bit then pauses all of a sudden.

Dude is the weirdest media performer I've ever seen. Didn't catch last night, but I usually can't watch him cos he seems nervous and fidgety and says some of the strangest things.

The one I'll always remember was like a half-time interview or something, and the commentator said "good luck" to him and he responded with "okayyyyyyy" and let it trail off really long while leaning backwards.

Agree with this - he's always been a little odd when interviewed and under the circumstances, which are unusual to say the least, he is always going to be a little more on edge than normal. Looks like he's continually fighting the urge to say something he really wants to that he's smart enough to know he shouldn't so he holds back when the words are all but out of his mouth

Agree with you. I thought he was going to have a heart attack or a panic attack.

That's what it seems. has probably been told by his media trainer every time when he does an interview or goes on T.V that you wont be able to say this and you cant say. feels restricted in what he can say which is not in his nature.

Or probably he swears a lot when talks.
