I think is because Riewoldt can be thrown around like a ragdoll, whereas Tredders is highly proficient at keeping his ground, due to his strong lower body. Make sense doesn't it... if your a weakling you get more free kicks.

Half time. We were lucky in those last 10 minutes. Another classic Francou clanger when we were trying to hold onto the ball. As Dwayne Russell said about Port's keepings off style. "I've watche them do this in the past......and they're not very good at it." Spot on.

Half time. We were lucky in those last 10 minutes. Another classic Francou clanger when we were trying to hold onto the ball. As Dwayne Russell said about Port's keepings off style. "I've watche them do this in the past......and they're not very good at it." Spot on.

Port are playing well, but they still arent confident within themselves, you can see that if St kilda get a run on that Port could capitulate. I hope not for our sakes.

Francou is the only port player to look scared and hesitant. Although he always has a scared expression on his face....Still, he's played poorly with a couple of highlights. And i'm sure Williams will make note of them. Is it just me, or does anyone else notice he often has no sense of the players around him. Perhaps he has undiagnosed tunnel vision.
Also, worst umpiring i've seen for the year. Even the frees that have gone our way (9-15) have been ridiculous. That 'push in the back' from Kane was hilariously bad.

Kingsley has had 13 touches, Chad 11 and 5 marks, Cassisi 13 touches, Shaun 17 and 4 marks off half back (gee how weve missed him), Peter 14 touches, Francou 12 touches and 6 marks, Monty 8 marks, Wakelin 9 touches and 4 marks and Tredders 4 marks and 2 goals.

The free to Shattock after he handpassed the ball through for a St.Kilda point was a load of crap.
The free kick was there but it worked in St.Kilda's favour as we had to kick the ball out basically from right on the fence, surely it would have been better for the umpire just give us the kick from the kick out. We turned it over and it resulted in a goal, very average umpiring.

I can't remember too much of it now.
Basically they asked Thomas whether he got stuck into the boys at half time and he replied with no. He just advised that he wasn't happy with the physical intensity from the Saints and that Luke Ball would come on at the start of the thrid quarter.
It was probably more of what he didn't say that made it funny.
