If Suns don't play finals this season I am leaving if I am in his shoes. I wouldn't make decision till then.

He was asked on MMM a few weeks ago if he would be at the Suns in 2026 and said yes. The video was posted somewhere. Was a pretty clear answer when he could have dodged.

My guess is he signs for 2 more years which is takes him to free agency.

But until the contract is signed it obviously doesn't mean anything.

For sure. As the poster said, until he re-signs anything possible. You don't meet clubs for fun. He seemed unsettled when Lukosius left (close friends, sharing house). Now with his buddy Anderson captain and being in leadership group by himself most people believe he will stay.

He did look bloody great against Eagles. Way more leading, actively organising teammates. More winning would help. He stay is my guess .

Maybe I’m just a contrarian but I don’t see Rowell as a massive need for us.

We have enough “tough in and under” mids IMHO. Where we’re getting caught out sometimes is lack of pace and silky skill on the outside. Lyon tagged Holmes and we looked one paced and fumbly.

Would rather us look for more of a fast outside player for long term balance.

he will re-sign in my opinion for another 2 years that gets him to free agency than he can assese how the club is tracking.

Suns are playing real good footy right now, and he will prob be the Suns highest paid player for the next 2 seasons at least.

Yeah I don't think he is leaving, I reckon it's just an investment for later in life. Was just joking since Kew is right next to the suburb Hawthorn, your right though it's not close to our training facilities.
