Of course they did?

We kept players who never made it out of the SANFL in priority
And players who were worse became stalwarts in our AFL team

Sure, no biggie compared to all our other much worse decisions because Ed Curnow was only a handy player but the wrong call. One of many.

And he got brought up in this thread not because he was any good. Simply because someone wrongly posted that Ed Curnow was disappointed to be drafted to Adelaide, in some sort of misguided defence for over-looking Charlie Curnow in the draft
