Going to watch this game again to see just how we completely capitulated and how easily we lost the early ascendancy..
The obvious was Amartey's career high effort and ther question has to bwhy there wasn't an early move (or instruction) to try and negate it ???
Then have to question the ease of the delivery to him.
Was it from a lacklustre midfield / defence or just simply a sh*t gameplan.
Once again ,we'll never see a way out while we we have a lack of genuine players/ suburban coaching / recruiting / board ..
With 3 or 4 of handy recruits .
I think we have the foundations to make a team , though FFS , we need to move on from this fantasy the current list & coaching team are going to get us (at best) further than a first week finals appearance.
Keep playing the kids as they showed enough .. it was our so called leaders who collectively sh*t the bed.

Sacking Nicks isn't going to fix our list, nor is it going to fix our ruck or backline. At least now, there is no chance of finals. They can see which players are going to be in the next finals push and who needs to go. Really tonight's game ended up as most would have expected. Competitive for a half then blown off the park.

At least ROB is competitive, Grundy just did as he liked ragdolling Strachan, not excusing Laird in particular but at least give our mids a competitive chance they're not going to ever get that with Strachan. If we need to move on from ROB then at least get an AFL ruck that is competitive. Strachan was a non event after the 1st quarter and will never have the tank to compete for 4 quarters against AFL level rucks.
