In the end, who really gives a f*ck about what Shaw or anyone else said?

Exactly. Say what you like the week before the game. Quote a million reasons why you should win, talk about how well you are going as a team, how you have learnt from last time.. blah blah blah.

It's all media hype that counts for zilch, other than maybe a few extra viewers. All that matters is what happens when the ball is bounced. It is an important game, like all games against potential finals opponents are. However, last time I checked the premiership cup wasn't handed out in August, so no point building it up too much.

Sure I want the cats to win, but I wont be thinking the season is over if they loose.

Good game and no injuries.

well, the truth, well, it hurts to say

i'm gonna pack up my bags and i'm gonna go away

i'm gonna split, i can't stand it

I'm gonna give it up and quit and aint never comin back

yeah, but before i get goin, i've got to say

i know you used to love me but that was yesterday

and the truth, i won't fight it

woh oh, lover, lover, lover

you don't treat me no good no more

The only way is to ban all accounts against the IP

Ip's are dynamic, other than his day job.

So just ban that.

Not sure he works though. He is a collingwood dude.

However, in 5 hours we can just pm him for weeks.

No problem. As darren forssman noted, its a reference to Ian and Bruce Nankervis, who both had long and great careers at Geelong. I believe its a rare surname, so who knows, they may be related to your Chris and Tim.

"We’ve lost games this year that we think we shouldn’t have lost.

“Certain stats have been in our favour and we still haven’t won the game. Geelong (in round nine) was one of them, as were a couple of others that we lost.

I just find it incredible that Maxwell would provide us with even more ammunition to beat them than we would already have. He must have been at a different game to me in round nine because we controlled the tempo of the game for most of it and were worthy and deserving winners.

He was right. Even tonight, by some stats we should have buried the Cats but in reality we only scraped home.

We're just learning how to do the best. Who would you rather meet in the GF, us or someone else?

When Brian isn't doing Spicks 'n Specks he trains with the Cats?

Doesn't matter. You've got to beat whoever is the next best team at the time. If it happens to be Collingwood, so be it.

Watching Collingwood tonight, there's nothing in particular that makes me concerned about playing them in the GF. That's taking nothing away from Collingwood who were unequivocally the best team tonight and deserved to win by more then they did.

I am just more concerned about Geelong doing what it needs to do to improve on tonight's effort. That is the biggest factor in deciding this year's flag, in my view.

all that tells us is what a monster team the cats are? when we meet them again, this result wont count for much
