Excatly. Unless they tank and finish near the bottom, thereby securing some half decent picks, they'll have no idea how to go about rebuilding their team. So whereas it's probably inevitable that they'll return to their rightful spot down the bottom of the ladder anyway, it's also probably essential if they ever want to be a finals contender again.

I really enjoyed watching this one:
They did better than that this year, so even though they still haven't won a flag for more than 4 decades, I'm a little bit pissed off that they haven't already made the next installment.

Repetition or rote learning is important to get a message across to those with limited intelligence or a developing brain. Same way you would've learnt youre times tables... if you actually went to school past year 2.
