Re: Can the Dog's afford Hall?

I think it was a sucessful attempt by the footy show to bring Barry back into public favour.

He showed us he could laugh at himself and his mistakes and is moving on and wants to be part of footy in Melbourne once again.

The Dogs cannot afford not to take him now. The gates numbers will be huge.

Cats Bradbury a Flag

Cats blatantly didn't deserve to win. They had a ton of players like S.Johnson, Mooney, Hawkins, Harley and such who did sweet **** all yet they were extremely lucky enough to get home.

The umpires even tried to gift them the game by declaring Hawkins' poster a goal.

Geelong had a LOT of things fall their way this year. Very, very lucky to be premiers. No-where near as deserving a winner as St.Kilda would've been.

Re: Cats Bradbury a Flag

Bradbury fluked a gold medal in his olympic final and then promptly disappeared from all finals for the rest of his career.

Geelong have made 3 GF's in a row, hardly Bradbury like.

It would be a Bradbury if they'd won last year and then gone missing this year.

Re: Cats Bradbury a Flag

certainly the cats stumbled over the line to claim the 09 flag.

Certainly right about a lot of passengers this year some terrible performances right across the board today. Based on the year St Kilda deserved the flag just like Geelong did last year. In reality if Hawks are 08 Bradbury's then same goes for Geelong in 09. but winners a grinners also

Well done Cats premiers 09

This. It's not like Hawthorn made three grand finals in a row.

Geelong went in as favourites.

Thread is void.

Re: Cats Bradbury a Flag

Stupid thread. Tight game. Cats hung in under pressure and stepped up to win. Saints played better for most of the game but couldn;t keep it up. Not like this is the first time a team has been outplayed but managed to do enough to win.

Hawks pinched one last year against the odds. You got a flag boys. Enjoy it and cut the pointless flog threads.

Saints - thanks for coming.
Hawks - ha ha ha.

Re: Cats Bradbury a Flag

Hawthorn of '08 wouldn't have gone close to either of the teams today... that's what I call Bradbury! Worst premiers since Collingwood in '90 and worst reigning premiers in AFL history!!! :thumbsu:
