He's Bstill on the list;

He's not best 22, doesn't get enough games for viewers to rely on him as a whipping boy.

Probably would've struggled to get a regular game in that team anyway, handy depth player though, not a great loss, wish him well.

took hodge to the cleaners in the 2010 final and was excellent last year. but his actual productivity was overlooked due to lazy perception of media and opposition supporters with axes to grind. a good pick up and the 3 year deal in hindsight was worthwhile. well done to him and i won't crucify somebody who has a change of mind/heart

Essendon: Here's a new contract. 2 years and X amount of games gets you a third.
McPhee: Nah. I want more money and 3 years straight up.
Essendon: But that much money would make you one of the highest paid players in the club, and we're not sure about a third year.
McPhee: Well that's what I want.
Essendon: Alright. Here's the money you asked for, and less games to get the third year option.
McPhee: Looks good.
*Final list lodgement passes*
McPhee: Actually, f*** it. I'm going to the pre-season draft.

Prick of a bloke. How'd getting more midfield time at Freo work out Adam?

I always wonder why peanuts who don't watch football feel the need to come into these threads and make nonsensical statements about retiring players. Sure it's just trolling but seriously, you don't have a career like McPhee if you can't play. He just came off his best year since 2004 at 30 years of age, club is desperate to retain him. As the 2 sane and unbiased Geelong supporters mentioned near the start of the thread he was one of the best on ground when we won our first final at the G, club is desperate to retain him. He is meeting with Lyon tomorrow to try and talk him into staying. Hope he does stay.
