Watched 360, on the couch and open mike tonight - its been a long off season!

Thought Browny was really really good for his first episode. Maybe a bit to down the line on a few points but that's his style! I think a lot of people will really warm to his inclusion into foxfooty.

Open Mike was awesome. Wouldn't have been nearly as good if it were 30min. Some seriously funny moments.

He's a Company Man

Am a bit surprised when l read that he had trained as a defender for the entire pre-season. Would have thought Leppa would have known if he was going to be a forward for the season so he was trained in it. Seems like a real last minute decision based on the nab cup games.
Yeah or maybe he had hopes that a FA signing could come our way at the end of the season and it looks like falling through. Does seem very last minute though...

Did he mention as to why Lethal gave them a spray after the 2003 GF

Said they weren't really humble in victory and were losing focus of the task ahead (2004 season). So Lethal gave them a spray to kind of refocus them (I'm terrible at paraphrasing :$)

Its not unusual for clubs to send their forwards into the defense for training/reserve matches so we've taken the opposite route and gotten McStays defender training out of the way early! Now he can go forward and average 4 goals a game and 80 for the season!

When I read this I think "wow - McStay is talented and flexible" and "wow - Leppa is dynamic".

With 80% accuracy

Daniel McStay says he can succeed filling a big hole in Brisbane Lions forward line
If he doesn’t – and any 194cm 19-year-old footballer deserves all the understanding that comes their way – then it is another step towards the Lions having to stuff 2105 into their thickening file labelled “development seasons’’.
I too think 2105 will be a development season.

This is taking club sponsorship to a new level. Subliminal advertising on BigFooty should be banned.

Dunno, the Accent on product placement is admirable. We should be looking to Excel in all facets of the club as we strive to a new Genesis.

Well that explains the random bursts of Phil Collins in our NAB Cup games.

Mark Stevens' assessment on our 2015 prospects below. Has us ahead of WCE, Collingwood, Essendon and Carlton

10th - Brisbane Lions

Coach: Justin Leppitsch

Captain: Tom Rockliff

Last five years: 13-15-13-12-15

Premierships: 3 (2001-03)

Key five: Tom Rockliff, Dayne Beams, Jack Redden, Matthew Leuenberger, Dayne Zorko.

One to watch: Dayne Beams. The star onballer shocked the Magpies with his trade demand, but Collingwood's loss is Brisbane's gain. Beams is still only 25 and shapes to be a prime mover for the Lions as they look to move back up the ladder in 2015 and beyond.

Ins: Harris Andrews (Aspley, Qld), Dayne Beams (Collingwood), Allen Christensen (Geelong), Josh Clayton (Sandringham U18), Liam Dawson (Aspley, Qld), Jaden McGrath (Bendigo U18), Josh McGuinness (Lauderdale, Tas), Mitch Robinson (Carlton), Josh Watts (Glenorchy, Tas).

Outs: Jonathan Brown (retired), Jack Crisp (Collingwood), Jordan Lisle (delisted), Ashley McGrath (retired), Brent Moloney (retired), Joel Patfull (GWS), James Polkinghorne (delisted), Andrew Raines (delisted), Patrick Wearden (delisted).

Best line-up:

B: Jed Adcock, Daniel Merrett, Darcy Gardiner
HB: Pearce Hanley, Justin Clarke, Sam Mayes
C: Marco Paparone, Daniel Rich, Jack Redden
HF: Allen Christensen, Michael Close, Dayne Zorko
F: Lewis Taylor, Brent Staker, Josh Green
R: Matthew Leuenberger, Dayne Beams, Tom Rockliff
I: Stefan Martin, James Aish, Rohan Bewick, Mitch Robinson

Interesting - no Rich in our best five and no McStay in our best 22.
