Leppa was co-host on 4BC's Sports Tonight this evening.

The man is a natural in the media, and almost made me drive off the road laughing on a few occasions.

The memorable moment of the night was when they were discussing the incident in the ODI in England overnight involving Paul Collingwood. Peter Psaltis asked Leppa what he thought of the incident and his reply was something along the lines of "just proves that whenever Collingwood is involved there will be cheating" I thought Peter Psaltis was going to choke at the comment, but then the Collingwood jokes came thick and fast, Psaltis asking whether or not it was Dole day, because if it was there would be no Collingwood supporters listening anyway.

Interesting conversation tonight by the commentators on the ABC at half time in the Bulldogs v Essendon game. Talked predominantly about the last finals spot and where Sydney (mainly), Carlton and Brisbane were at in the development curve.

The opinion was that Brisbane have rebuilt very well and that they thought Brisbane were very close to bouncing right back. They thought a few of the young guys coming through (no names mentioned) showed a lot of potential and that we are probably closer than a lot of people think. Praise was given for our list management.

Also discussed where Kerr and Brown might go. They thought Kerr was extremely likely to end up Melb although they thought Sydney might give it a shot. I got the impression that they all thought Brown was in play but he was not definately going to move like they thought with Kerr. Nothing much new there I guess.

The whole conversation was a bit more considered than a lot of what you hear and it was good to hear a little bit of unbiased considered opinion on where we are at.
