I vaguely remember that, or at least the kerfuffle that surely followed. Mossop was a complete fckwit redneck rugby (league/union) mysogynist bigoted ****. Who loved Manly.

One of the funniest Mossop "moments" was on some talk show some years after his heyday when he was introduced to Julian Clary, at the height of Clary's fame in the late 80s, I think. Clary was way too smart for the Moose, kept baiting and winding him up.

Mossop wanted to kill him ... on air.

Didn't Julian Clary love manly?

Shaw and Blight are a disgrace when commentating WCE games.

Well more so than regular games, anyway.

Not sure if Blight is just senile though.

Even worse is that he thinks he speaks for all Geelong supporters (he most certainly doesn't), and he tries to bask in the glow of recent success. That he had NOTHING to do with.

He perfectly represents everything that was wrong with Geelong for a long time. Hoping the club severs ties with him as soon as possible, then he can be as fat and stupid as he likes.

It says much for the professionalism of the accredited AFL media that they can usually go about their business without their allegiance being called into account.

'No barracking in the press box' is a rule that is largely adhered to, but before they joined the media, those who write and commentate were fans of the game and in just about every case, of a particular team.

What follows is by no means an exhaustive list, but we at BPL have attempted to match the AFL media members that we know, with the teams they follow and the rating out of 10 indicates the degree of their fervour.
