Or he could have ended up snorting white powder...It's a good thing Roo could play football. Otherwise he'd still be in the Riverland growing and dealing weed.

His skill level could be peak Ablett Sr and I still wouldnt want to see him in a Port jumper.Whocares. Tex would come in handy in our rabble of a forward line atm. Goodluck to the racist campaigner
"His record over the past decade, given the talent at his disposal, is remarkable"
This sentence just kills me. Ken’s whole set up leans on unsustainable individual brilliance FFS. The article even goes on to say that we’re not really a “system team” I mean there’s a f@&king clue if there ever was one. Not to mention his record has nothing on it apart from a couple of popularity contest wins.
Remarkable? Only in Bizzaro World where it means deplorable.

I mean it is remarkably shit that with the lists and support he has had he hasnt got the club to even a single grand final in a decade so I think... technically correct? This sentence just kills me. Port Adelaide are bold and brave, but also as ordinary as the AFL winter is long | Jonathan Horn
Ken Hinkley’s boys should have beaten Carlton. They blew it, and are now up against it to salvage their seasonwww.theguardian.com
Another Ken love fest.

How does the author miss the blinding obvious in his own article while defending Ken
"For years, Port have been a pretty straightforward side that’s always been missing something – a bit of luck, some poise, a star forward or a coach who could pull a rabbit out of the hat. They have always had a tendency to shoot themselves in the foot. And they have never really been a ‘system’ team"
You know, like a proper coached side would be.

I really enjoy their cricket coverage, especially their live stuff. They are my go to for a big test series if I can't watch it live.I don't mind the guardian but not when it comes to sports. They're the equivalent of Shaun Micallef as Philip Quist reporting on football. Arty wanks who have no interest in sport whatsoever but try to make themselves sound brainy anyway.
I dunno, its pretty remarkable that a team with a Brownlow medallist in the midfield, an afl MVP, an all Australian full forward, all Australian CHB and a player that collected 25 votes couldn't even make a grand final.
Announcing new flankets in store.Does anyone know what your club has called a press conference today for? Big announcement, or something minor? Cheers.
Because our current hierarchy, admin and football, keeps us mediocre, which is exactly what AFL House wants. Media representatives depend on open access to the AFL, so toe the company line.I think the issue is just lazy journalism in AFL. The quality of writing/analysis is high school level but because your average reader is a muppet they don’t care - it still sells.
I choose not to believe that not all those in the media are that wedded to Hinkley - I mean for what purpose? Why would this guy support Hinkley?

I'd imagine something to do with ANZAC Rd game, they just posted a video with our ANZAC guernsey.Does anyone know what your club has called a press conference today for? Big announcement, or something minor? Cheers.
Finally answering the timeless question: why bibs so hype ?Does anyone know what your club has called a press conference today for? Big announcement, or something minor? Cheers.
