Griffin makes it pretty clear that he just wants Port and the Crows and the Bond Brothers to sit down and have a discussion about the image rights and how it will be used. Which he says never happened prior to the trophy being used for promotion purposes. Also makes it clear they do not want any impact on the Variety Charity whatsoever.

Griffen says it's not about the Bond brothers 'extracting as much money as they can'. But that doesn't mean money won't be a part of the resolution of course.

The Bond brothers knew about the image on the trophy before it was launched in 2018 and even attended the launch which promoted the trophy. What "promotion purposes" are now occurring in 2023 that haven't been happening for years?

I could tell some stories about Mr Dillon post his SANFL career. He is a mug like the rest of us who does and says things that he would never want publicised.

Dillon says Tredders is 'not the sharpest tool in the shed'. This is from the bluntest tool in the shed that hasn't been used for 40 years. Should have been sent out for scrap decades ago.

Every broadcast he makes these days is a scream for attention. Pretty embarrassing really.

Yep - should be an image of the ball deviating off the goal post while Adelaide players celebrate a goal or Murphy faking an injury so Dawson can take his free kick.

Or maybe even a picture of the Geof Motley Race covered up at crows games.

Was a poor attempt at copying the NRL's Proven and Summons Trophy of course. Anything the crows are associated with has zero originality - surprised we went along with it.
