Blues officials will discuss recruiting 30-year-old Robertson as it tinkers with a likely 2010 forward line that is far from settled

Jarrad Waite, Matthew Kreuzer, and Cameron Cloke shape as the foundations of what looms as a highly unpredictable Carlton attack

Cloke/Robertson shades of Brereton/Dunstall:thumbsu:

Because that Judd bloke wasn't that big of a signing...

Too bad Melbourne beat us to Luke Ball and Jonathan Brown rejected us... oh wait?...

I knew we should of signed Leigh Brown..........

Yeah it is an interesting decision, but what is the harm in it? How much experience does he carry? now that we dont have a senior forwards. Waste of a thread.

Yet you bag Essendon for getting a younger experienced forward for the exact same reason.

Hypocrite, hardly surprising i might add.

Yet there is a difference, I was more critical of the fact you gave up pick 16 for a forward with bung knees, robbo was delisted because of age

We also give up nothing for robbo if we take him

See the difference.

Bung knees? Im sure our medical stuff would've overlooked that gibbster not to mention the fact our CEO worked with Willo for years......

Lovett walked out, we were lucky to get anything for him in the first place. What we got in return was actually great recruiting from the club.

Robbo came back from an achilles injury and we all know he's finished. But yeah you go for him, i guess a scrap is better than nothing...

An experienced forward to help all our young guns to develop, I see the merit in this.

Oh dear  and how does a 30 year old has been forward not considered good enough by the worst side in the comp.... help young guys develop? If anything he is going to stifle their development by taking a forward spot a young kid could have had

So how is Russell Roberston going to teach them? Is he going to show them how to play from behind and fly for unrealistic marking attempts all day long? If you wanted to teach your young kids to play like that you just have to have them watch Nick Reiwoldt Grand Final tapes

The more you post, the dumber you look.

Woewodin was a pretty big name. Not huge but 8 letters is bigger than average I dare say.

Considering the Anvill, the spud he is, completely took "Krueze" to the cleaners, the last time they played, it will be quite amusing seeing Jolly take Kruezer apart:thumbsu: You will be lucky to get within 40 points of us next year.
