Looks like Manly are still the ones - to dislike. Still like their guernsey.
And I still like Cronulla and they have more relevance than Storm.
In fact if the Cronulla teamed up with the the East Fremantle Sharks
and played out of Fremantle I'd suppport that.

I can see it coming. Just like '06 the opposition also has one of their greats playing his last game in Menzies. Best to send him out with a premiership like Webcke....

I have a bad feeling about this game.

I get the feeling there will be another Geyer like 'grapple' paid due to some soccer like dives/injury fakes.

Hated in NSW/ACT. Attitudes vary from hated to irrelevance in QLD. Not heard about in WA and SA. Viewed as inconsequential in its home state for all of the year except one week.

If Melbourne hadn't of been playing in 3 GFs over the past few years they would undoubtedly be the least liked first grade football team in this country, and even now you could put up a strong argument for this title.

Up here in FNQ, Melbourne are very popular. This is due to the presence of Billy (from Innisfail) and Dallas (who comes Herberton up here on the Tablelands).

Speaking at least for the Tablelands, Melbourne would be the third most popular team after the Cowboys (of course) and the Broncos.

I was in Atherton this morning, and the Stump has purple streamers and a good luck Dallas sign out the front. I'll be watching in the Anthill tomorrow night, and I expect to hear a lot of booing when the Sea Eagles run out!

Good to see the boys of brissie have a bit of sense in them.

Quite frankly i could not care less if were the most hated team. I'm never going to pick up a paper and read "melbourne is a disgrace'. I will hardly find myself where i have to back my team up.

BTW i reckon Manly is the gayest team in Oz and i can't wait till we dish out real rugby to em.
