Figures of 0- club has no website membership info displayed for the convenience of their members. Therefore 0.

I would have liked to have seen Hawks at 20,000 but still a good effort.

Are the Pies supporters giving Eddie the finger? For Pies that's awful!

Is it time for another fire up North Melbourne thread? I had hoped they would be much higher than that! I wonder how many 'charity memberships' won't renew from last year? Please North, get behind your club. This could well be the year to save it!

Well done to the Dees- hopefully they can continue the good work thus far.

Yeah, we publicly announced 12,000 over a week ago. Re-check ya figures with each club.

very impressive start from the Demons.

I wonder if a lot of Collingwood supporters are dropping off due to the membership errors that were made last year. May have forced a lot of people to decide not to renew.

But ultimately its very early days, and you would think come round 1 next year we will still be hovering around the 40g mark.

I'm renewing after January as I'm going o/s and need to save money at the moment! So at least 1 more magpie will sign up!

North at 4320. Just remember, people were signing up urgently last year. This year, there isn't that urgency. Membership projections on our board say we should have 8.5-9k by Xmas.

You can add another 2 tmrow. Going to sign up 2 new members.

Good stuff! The more on board the better for Nth!

I have a mate who barracks for Richmond, lives in Brisbane now but refuses to buy a membership unless Richmond are up there with a finals chance. Needless to say I call him a weak Tiger flog! Put your money where your mouth is son!

Well that would be because it is not the official Essendon website. Unlike all the other clubs Essendon is not part of the AFL/Telstra deal.
And funnily enough, its the best club website in the AFL. Odd that....

I think there was a thread on this a couple of days ago? One of the reliable Eagles posters (forget who, will look for in a min) commented that 97% of Eagles membership renewals had been received by the closing date, which makes for about 37500 members

You know, I could say something about when economic times are tough, it's often the poor who really struggle, which is why pies supporters are not signing up as much, but I wont. :p

Okay effort by the tigers by the way, if we can get 35k that'd be very good.

updated;)

From Pies Website -

Total as at 9th Dec 2008: 10,353 (http://membership.collingwoodfc.com.au/)

Friday December 12th is the final day for all reserved seat holders to renew and keep their seats that they have had in past seasons.

I would expect that the first update next week will show a significant spike.

I dont know if the other clubs are using the same (New) or similar online renewals and purchasing system which may be delaying numbers coming through. I hope so, otherwise there is a significant drop as my memory tells me we had about 20k at this time last year.

Mmme. Not sure attention to true facts is your forte.
You will note on the original post as of today. If clubs choose not to put info there that is there choice but I couldn't give a rats ringing them :)

Another Hawthorn thread this one, congratulations
You guys have the highest membership of a club that shows its membership numbers on line.

Eagles Dockers and Crows would top that list in no particular order if they put there stats up.

Redo this thread in the first week of march
