For those lucky ones wondering where to pick up your tickets, here's the SA Ticketek locations you can pick up your tickets from.

City is the City Cross news agency, while the other big outlet is the Entertainment Centre box office (which is Ticketek HQ in SA).

No electronic/phone tickets for the GF, you'll have to pick them up from an outlet.

Worth driving over to watch it at Fed Square?

I think it would be worth it to be in Melbourne. They also show it on a screen outside the MCG. Last few years I've watched it there, then snuck in at the end of the game to watch presentations and victory lap after. With increased security that sneaking in might be harder this year, but still think its worth being in Melbourne to soak it all in even without a ticket.

Absolutely - the post match at the MCG (where the winning team will be presented) is free, so head to Fed Square (or even Yarra Park) to watch the game, and providing the Richmond supporters don't go full Vancouver Canucks, you can join in the post game fun.

Haha, as an NHL follower this was quite amusing.

Hard part is convincing Dad to drive us over when he says he'd prefer just to watch it at home on the telly...

If you registerd for 4 in the ballot I'd assume so.
Easy to check divide the amount taken from your account by the 4 tickets, then check the category $ value listed in this thread.

We are Priority 1, I was getting worried because I couldn't find the transaction on my credit card. Then saw the button for PENDING transactions, click on that and there it is! $2196, which means we got Cat 3 (6 tickets.)

Same, I don't understand the ballot system. How were some priority 2 tickets allocated before priority 1? Why should bronze members have the same ballot priority as 11 game members?

I got 1 ticket with a gold upgrade very happy but foolishly leant out 2 bronze barcodes for the ballot thinking they'd be no chance with Richmond in the Gf then I find they came up for some standing tix...seems wrong and wish I did it myself so I could give to more worthy people that were long time members.

Far out my bronze membership I leant out to someone got pulled out of the ballot for standing /restricted view. Don't believe it!

It should be

Gold - 100%
Silver - ballot
Bronze/3 game membership - anything left over

However, their should be way more than 34,000 tickets for the 2 competing clubs. Thats not fair with 100,000 seat capacity

True but been that way for a long time propping up poor clubs, won't change.

I think that used to be the case when it was capped at six thousand but not anymore. Not fussed mate. As long as boys do it that's good enough for me.
