M17 is in the AFL Reserve, so I can't imagine ballot tickets would be assigned in this area.

Yes they do allocate standing room in the AFL reserve for non AFL members, my husband was there for the 2015 GF with his Hawks ballot ticket. It is 1 of the better standing spots so you have done ok.

Had a look at the view from Q12 - not too unhappy considering we got cat 6 seats. Up the back but at the 50m line so nice view down/across the ground.

What are the seats like at the G? Is it hard to see like footy park? I've only ever been once and the seats were great but that time I was sitting pretty high up
