Not even getting engaged signal, just beeps once and ends the call. They haven't gone belly up this week have they?

LOL!! Nope but the membership lines have been constantly engaged for days. If you're not even getting in the queue then it means the queue's full too. I got through to the queue early afternoon and then waited about 20 minutes in the queue. Its the only way.

The membership renewal process is a joke for anyone looking to make changes. I sent them an email Monday last week, and still haven't had a response. I've tried calling them every day since and all I get is "number busy". All I want to do is cancel my automatic credit card renewal and change to monthly direct debit. The email they sent out says to contact the club by 18th of October or log in to the membership page to cancel the automatic credit card renewal. So I've logged in and there is no option to do so. Anyone know what to do?
 
After 5 working days and 30+ attempts I finally got in the queue!

35 minutes later my 30 second query is answered.

Frankly, not good enough from the club.
So after finally getting through you're still put on hold for over half an hour? That's ridiculous. There's no way I will be able to get through to them then. I work Monday - Friday 9-5 which is the only hours they're open. I have a half an hour lunch break each day as my only opportunity. Not sure what to do now....

Yep. Looks like the queue system only takes about 15 callers before it fills up.

And the weird thing is there’s no hold music - just dead air while on hold, with an update every couple of minutes on your spot in the queue. The queue system is an utter shambles.

When I was on hold, I got hold music, - Nova 919.
I remember it used to be fiveaa.

Have you tried tweeting them, or sending a message to them on Facebook? That might work.

They’re not responding to Tweets either. I sent them a Tweet Thursday about these issues and they never responded.

I'd start off polite, then start to bombard all of their social media. That might get a response, especially if the general public can see your frustration.
 
I went down to the club this morning to sort out my membership for next season. They had a phone issue with Telstra yesterday, they couldn't even call out. So anyone that tried to call yesterday (like me) would have had no luck. They did have 20 people in the que this morning at 9am anyway so my advice would be, if you live close or don't have much on, head down to the club, admire the two premiership cups, remember the good times and sort out your membership face to face.

Actually, I had no issues getting thru my Monday night/Tuesday morning. It was around 11am ish Adelaide time. Think I started off #12 in queue and within 8 minutes I was speaking with someone.
