I just loved how Ross Lyon was still playing a loose man in defence even when they were 3 goals down with 2 minutes to go.

Another very good coaching performance imo.

Took the gamble on Fisher at half back - it worked, then looked to have been exploited, but when we got our rhythm back it proved a masterstroke. He also managed to use Pitto and TDK to wear down Marshall to the point that TDK took over the match, and managed to slow and then totally curb Crouch

More importantly he hit the right note to turn things around at half time. That fast back 6 is amazing - despite Marchbank looking a bit rusty we just looked more and more secure back there as time went on. And to turn around the players mentally was excellent

One more demon to exorcise here - the ghosts of our collapse last year. Literally being the demons would be ideal and put all worries to rest ahead of an of an icky last two rounds. It's a tough match up but we are so into 'why not' territory here

clean outs have the potential to benefit other clubs.

this reminds me of the malthouse clean out he did with us, giving away our assets for cheap and dismantling our small forward brigade.

if they trade (and we spot) a cheap option that improves us, I say we do it.

Nah, Ed had warmed up, had taken off his jacket for the next rotation, and after Dow kicked that goal, Ed put the jacket back on after being told they'd need to pick someone else for the rotation.
