Here we are tonight, we're all here, thanks for joining us tonight where tonight we will be both here and bringing you the picks as they happen, when they happen and what occurs when the clubs start to act.

.... please hurry up
They've had 6 months to plan this coverage and all we get is jokes about Riley's steps.

Gee I wish they would actual interview players, coaches and outsiders instead of just endlessly promoting the same limited talking heads.

Some of the youtrubers and podcasters have gotten great interviews on a zero budget with VFL/WAFL/SANFL/country league players and coaches, if only some of that sort of content got to the AFL app more people might use it.

If we don't have depth options already why are Knobel, Benning and Williams playing in reserves?
In Bennings case because he is done, in Williams and Knobels cases because they need extra development time. I don't necessarily agree with any of those calls but that is why they are in ressies. Selecting one extra player in the MSD ain't gonna change, in and of itself, where any of those 3 (or any of our other listed players) play.

An MSD pick gives another chance to a young hungry driven player, it doesn't take anything away from any of our existing players.

Maric had his head in his hands when he heard the news.
Until Wet Toast accidentally list Ivan Maric as the player they have taken, at which point happiness all around...

Maybe Maric has told his parents that he will stay if they give him $50k... "you've been sentenced to 5 years of being smashed every round.. sorry kid".

I also enjoy seeing these young men get emotional when they get to sit in the row boat they've dreamed of for so long - coupled only with the realisation that rowing that boat is harder than the path to get to it.

Beautiful moment for them, proud parents all around.

Exactly. It is why taking someone in the MSD is never a bad choice - just having that extra drive and energy and hope come in half way through a season can be great, especially for the teams in the lower half of the comp.
