Re: Millewa Football League

where have you been hiding rygy? still havn't got down to watch the boys yet

Re: Millewa Football League

Don't they pose any threat to any other team. I hear they have a few new players that are giving some of the teams that have played them a bit of trouble. Namely the Paola boys. I have read in the newspaper that they have kicked more than five goals a game since they changed sides? How do the other teams plan to shut them down? if they do pose a threat due to new players will that have any bearing on the outcome of the season?

think you will see that the paolo boys didnt kick many at all against cardy on saturday;):D

Hiw many did they kick? a mate of mine said that if they had 1 more taller bloke they would've given Cardy a bit of a tossin!! Maybe they should look into another tall forward to ruffle a bit of feathers in the Millewa.

Re: Millewa Football League

Re: Millewa Football League

He isn't on the transfer list. Has been at training a couple of times and we would love to have him but time is running out so we would need to be quick.
Check this link if you wanted to know the recruit I was on about.........http://www.millewafl.vcfl.com.au/memdb_transfers.asp

It's bloke like Wade who forget about the time and effort footy clubs put in to young blokes supporting them to play at the highest level as possible, slap in the face for the tiges I think!!

I understand what you are on about but put it in perspective.
He hasn't played for 2 years and has family connections out at Cardy so I would say a slap in the face is a bit harsh. He will be a good addition but we don't expect the world from him because as I mentioned, he hasn't played or trained in 2 years.

Re: Millewa Football League

I strolled down to watch the School boy $aints take on Cardy on the weekend.
And instead of walking through the open gate(with no one manning it), i decieded to do the right thing and walk the extra 20 metres and pay to get in.
Looked to be a hard , tough game. Pity of the blow out.

The School Ground;
As round as a bowling ball.
Which makes it hard to watch.

Car parking,
only parking is along one side of the boundry , so thats where everyone stands and that side just so happens to be right behind both clubs benches.
A disaster waiting to happen. Does that happen anywhere else?

I personally would prefer, the 30 min drive while listening to the footy on the radio, at the lake.

Re: Millewa Football League

Hey rocket, you do a lot of whinging. Ground too round, coaches benches in the wrong spot, don't get to listen to the radio on the way to the footy. Come on fella, just enjoy the game and stop finding faults in everything. the Bambill boys are playing good footy. If you don't like it, don't go.

sorry,
appart from the shit ground and shit parking, everything was perfect.

Re: Millewa Football League

Tips and margins this weekend people? All seem to be one sided affairs but I don't believe they'll all be massacres.

Euston v Bambill 60 points
Werrimull v Meringur 80 points
Nangiloc v Cardross 80 points

Re: Millewa Football League

Im tipping an upset.

Euston to beat the $chool Boys.
I think the extra pace will trouble them and i have a feeling that Euston are not all that far away

Re: Millewa Football League

seen the euston boys last week much better than in the first round, hallam straightens them up and the paoloa know where the goals are, but cant see them getting near the saints.

Re: Millewa Football League

I did say an "upset"

but not much in it in the end.

Werrimull 27.10 (172) vMeringur 5.8 (38) Euston 7.4 (46) vBambill 25.12 (162) Nangiloc 4.1 (25) vCardross 27.20 (182) Gol Gol Hawks 0.0 (0) vBye 0.0 (0)

Not much in it..... would hate to have seen a blow out.
