Brooklyn's pick will convey since they've made the playoffs, meaning we have our lottery pick, a pick around 16, and our early second rounder. Fair suite of picks - excited to see what Rosas can do with it.

What are we all hoping for over the draft/FA/trade period?

As an aside, it seems KG wants to be POBO if he buys the team - that makes the prospect way less appealing.

I would love KG to buy the team but not if he displaced Rosas. He has done extremely well given the hand he was dealt. Offloaded 3 bad contracts without losing too many future assets that I thought would be required to move the contracts.

if KG came in as owner and worked in tandem with Rosas then I could be happy about that. But I don’t think KG is the type to sit back without getting into the action

Trade it. Wiseman/edwards are going to be in the same position as towns/Dlo

Trade Beasley, hes gonna cost 15m and with a third star and payroll going to shrink we cant afford/won't go into luxury untill we start winning

If we Can turn pick 1 into a simmons/booker ild be stoked.

Massive Beasley fan here, but are you going down the path of trading #1 with Beasley to get say simmons.

Which would end up

simmons
Dlo
Culver
JH or JJ
Kat

if it works I would love

Simmons
Dlo
Beasley
JJ
Kat

I also dont get into the salary side of things so not sure this works.

Im a beasley fan as well. Hiwever the idea to net booker/Simmons

Need to trade him, he'll command 12/15m a year. If we can get 10m and long term, yeah boo

He's valuable. Booker/Simmons won't go for just.pick 1 alone.

Think we still need a SF. Simmons guards anything i think people focus on his shooting and dont realise how much he creates and the menace he is on defense either.

Sorry to intrude folks, but I would be wary of trading pick 1 (and something) for Ben Simmons. His body and durability more than anything else.

Swapping it for Booker is a no brainer but I doubt PHX would let him go, despite Robert Sarver being an Ommpa Lumpa.

You guys might be best advised when the Celtics won the lottery a couple of years ago and traded with Philly for a couple of additional assets for pick 1 to 3 (even if those assets didn't really flourish, Tatum was defintley a win for us).

With no clearcut/standout no 1 pick this year, asset building/accumulating might be in the Wolves best long term interests.

Regardless congrats !

How much "Cash considerations" would pick 1 get that we can on-trade to Phoenix?

where are those reports?
I saw a few articles (Sports Illustrated, Yahoo etc) but I did some digging and it seems it all stems back to a Bleacher Report reporter, who wrote that a 'Western Conference executive' said that we "are "confused" and not certain about one player yet. The team is under pressure after 'messing up last year by trading for Jarrett Culver.'"

So after reading that pile of trash, I'm taking it with a grain of salt. :rainbow:

Rosas has come out and said otherwise

I think We trade it for Booker/Simmons, If we cant,

It's Anthony Edwards 120%. Combo guard. Long defender, can play the 1/2/3.

Can't see Phoenix trading away Booker just to rebuild again
Edwards looks like he can step up straight to the NBA
Booker would have to want out.
I see phoenix doing something crazy like trading in CP3 to keep booker and Ayton in
