It's so amateurish, almost laughable both benches 20 metres apart holding up the same sign
everything about the league is amateurish

But isn't the whole point to get some type of advantage, or is it just for the benefit of both teams(which is ridiculous)?whats amateurish about it? are that clubs players not getting the point there are 2 minutes left if a big '2' is held up?

Are you 12?so your players know how much times is left. they can play accordingly. If they are in front they now to try and hold onto the ball for 2 mins and not 1 minute or 5 minutes. if they are behind they know they have 2 mins to get a goal, not 1 or 4 or 5 mins etc.
Not sure whats so hard to understand. They dont care if the other team knows how long to go.
The type of response you'd expect from an actual 12 year old.Are you 12?

im 13 and my posts are better than this rubbishwhy would i be 12?
are you 8?
true, its not the under 12s, the ruck goes in the ruck, none of this nominating stuffTime for the monthly "the ruck nomination rule" post.
Every game I watch, as a fan or a neutral, it manages to annoy me.
Ruck contests themselves have become a bit of a joke. The nomination rule, the 1m rule, the way umpires pick free kicks out at random, it’s all a bit ridiculous. Just throw the ball in the air, have two people compete for it and as long as they’re not hitting each other in the head or slinging each other out of the way, play on.Time for the monthly "the ruck nomination rule" post.

The problem being that teams were using third man up to clear congestion and play faster, higher scoring football?Commentators/panelists using throwaway lines like "just get rid of the ruck nomination rule", without acknowledging the problem that existed within the game that led to why the damn thing was actually introduced in the first place.
No, that the umps were repeatedly paying ridiculous frees for "blocking" of players who feigned they were going to take the ruck contest. The problem being that teams were using third man up to clear congestion and play faster, higher scoring football?
I don't mind that. if you tackle a player an unable to impede him disposing of the ball then play on.Also when they get spun 720 in a tackle and dont get pinned
