Secodnly, braves fire Gonzalez. Was always going to happen. He has a terrible roster but are definitely better than 9-27 record. Reckon Eddie Perez is a big chance for the gig next year.

amazing what can happen when players change clubs or from year to year. he was lights out for majority of last year but couldn't get a win because of no run support. This year is pitching terribly. I think he is a no.2-3 starter but having a shocking season.

A real shocker! I knew we were on the bad side of the trade, but didn't overly mind with the 'win now' mentality and ending up with Greinke, Miller, and Corbin, and feeling that an outfield of Peralta, Pollock and Tomas (and Peter O'Brien...) would perform well enough to cover the loss of Ender. Obviously, all these scenarios have gone to the pack!
Still, can't help but be impressed with the form of Owings & Drury taking on the outfield spots with only a couple early hiccups. IMHO both guys are deserving of everyday starts which wasn't possible before injuries

FFS Mets fans, booing off Harvey. Really??!! You're number one guy in the WS just over six months ago. The guy who last season pitched more innings than any guy ever has after Tommy John surgery. Yeah he's struggling a little this season, but he's earned the right not to be booed. Talk about fickle.

Harvey's woes continue. Another average performance with him being pulled off after 5 innings (5 ER). It's got to the point I almost don't want him pitching at the moment.
