So Tarrant left the 1st Mosque to drive to the 2nd Mosque 1 minute before Police arrived.

Great find. That sounds correct. Didn't see any of the argument bagging the cops, but it shows ignorance about how hard it would have been tracking and stopping a moving target. He was able to inflect maximum damage on trapped unarmed targets in a short amount of time with his semi auto weapons, not because the cops weren't doing their job

They, and some of the victims showed incredible bravery.

Even though the PM made a very moving speech she needs to take on most of the responsibility for allowing semi automatic weapons to be bought and she has some very dodgy friends that wouldn't help, in my opinion.

There was 323 mass shootings in the USA in 2018. Everyone has become inured to what happens there. The Las Vegas shooting got plenty of coverage here due to the high number of deaths which has its own thread.

Not sure why people cant post on this forum about a tragedy closer to home without having there righteousness or motives questioned?????

This has been a very well thought out and planned terrorist attack. The scramble by the various MSM outlets to totally erase Tarrants live stream from the net is unprecedented in its intensity. For good reason. The footage from his head cam is incendiary , and not just for the horror .
...Even more concerningly it has been constructed in the style of a first person shooter video game, The "lads" comment is attributable to a leading" Call of Duty" character. The lead up to the atrocity, driving there with a music soundtrack, choosing some weapons leaving others,...taking a maximum of two then interchanging after the first shots . a grim wisecrack remark..the vision screams out first person shooter video game -by evil, planned design.
As the terrorist drives away he reviews his " game" saying he "could have done better" and then drops the infamous Tony Abbottt "shit happens " quote in for good measure. Very politicised young man.
You can largely forget the manifesto which once again by plan is a load of tripe , some tongue in cheek humour , interfused with a bit of truth ,intended largely to confuse.
IMO this terrorist act is aimed not only at Moslems, but also, at the United States and its origins also lie in the ultra far right of that country.

A British member of Parliament has called for the internet to be fully regulated and governed as a result the footage. It is serious.

I wouldn't give anything in his so called manifesto the light of day. He was taken down by cops well trained in ramming vehicles and they forcibly removed the campaigner coward.

I'm not sure how it works now with social media and the explosion in the internet, but we were never, ever allowed to listen in on each others' citizens once we'd realised that we'd stumbled onto a citizen we had to move off the frequency immediately and the recording deleted.

I wouldn't expect the US would care too much about NZ or feel like they needed to do them any favours since NZ banned the US's nuclear vessels and 1 or 2 other moral stands they've taken over the past 3 or 4 decades which have been in defiance of the US.
