Reality would be him running to his car to eat the lot.I saw David King in the Lolly Shop at Sth Melbourne market on a gameday last year. Buying bags of sweets. He was happy to have a brief chat and told me that it was his turn to stock up for the boys in the commentary box later that day.

I have the image of him walking without food, but with food, looking just like he did in his hey day running full tilt out of the backline. He's an old bull - he would have just walked to his car to do the lot.

Play on is what he certainly did - a wee bit slow on the uptake am I this morning.Umm, I was paraphrasing the old bull joke.
Anyway, play on.
Saw jarman impey at a cafe in church st richmond yesterday , nothing else to ad to that, i think it qualifiers for this thread.
7 grams cafeWas it Richmond proper or Cremorne?
Was his stalker nearby?Played C grade eastern cricket against Greg Stafford in about 2009, he got white line fever and bowled bouncers to average batsman
I ended up in a corporate box at the old AAMi stadium years ago for an Essendon v Adelaide trial game. In there was Tony Shaw and Greg Phillips of Port Adelaide fame. Both really good blokes, talking openly about the tactics and strategies and really down to earth. Shaw was handing out stubbies every 5 minutes and would pretty much talk to anyone about anything...those were the days
Saw Max Gawn being interviewed by Bec Judd and some camera crew in a Camberwell bar last Thursday.
Not sure if he had a beer though.
https://www.theurbanlist.com/melbourne/directory/east-end-wine-barHe's just opened a wine bar apparently so I guess it was there.
I saw David King a few months ago noisily walking into a cafe on south bank. A tall, leggy blonde was with him, although she was walking a few meters behind him and he didn’t wait for her at the door.
