why comment when you clearly didnt watch him in 2018 or 2019In 2018 and 2019 he was pretty crap for most of the season, just like he has been this year, yet the commentators still talk him up like he's playing a blinder every time he gets near the ball. On Friday night's game against GWS, Dusty's first half was an absolute shocker but Bruce McAvaney still chimes in at half time with "Dusty's been good!"
The excuse I see from Richmond supporters every time he has a bad game is "he's injured", or "he's carrying something". If he's injured then why don't they rest him and give him a chance to recover properly so he can get back to his best form? Is Dustin Martin the one player in the league who plays perpetually injured because they can't afford him to miss one or two games for the sake of getting him right? It makes no sense. He literally has the highest turnover rate in the AFL and people still talk about him like he's one of the best players in the league. He's the defintion of overrated.
